I was delighted to be asked by Folksy to design a product for their exclusive Christmas collection. I have made these Icicle glass fairy lights, where each fused glass icicle has been sprinkled with glass snow. I am really pleased with the finished product, I hope you do to. So heres the collection and next week I will show you how I made them.

Over the last couple of weeks I have moved my whole studio from my single garage, 3 metres across the courtyard to the barn. The old barn has had a new roof and a wood burner installed to make me a cosy glass making studio and a fantastic space for my fused glass making workshop.
The old studio
The new studio before I worked my magic
The new studio
I still have to have to move the kiln and paint the windows but it now looks pretty with glass fairy lights and bunting.

With Camp Bestival just 2 miles across the fields from our house it would be rude not to go. So every year family Jeavons pitch our bell tent and meet up with family and friends for a good old knees up. We have been every single year, and this year it did not let us down. The sun was shining, the bands were singing, and the pear cider was flowing. Happy Days.

Heres a little peek at a few of my fused glass workshops and lessons. Students learn how to cut glass, experiment with fusing together glass elements, develop an understanding of bending techniques and have the opportunity to use screen printed glass transfers.Oh and there is sometimes cake too.
My next workshops are Glass Mini Bunting
and Christmas Tree Decorations.

My village of Winfrith Newburgh on the Dorset coast is looking so gorgeous with its Jubilee bunting flags flying.
My children wanted to join in so we went through out old material box and...ta dah
but I had to have a little glass bunting up to.
Today we have a village picnic, fancy dress comp, crown making, rounders, cream teas, and a live band. So fingers crossed the rain stays away. Happy Jubilee folks.Oh and did someone say Pimms!
